If BOLD gets wet, unplug all cables, turn off the power bank (press the power button for 3 seconds) before cleaning, and allow it to try thoroughly before turning it on again. Do not attempt to dry BOLD with an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or hair dryer. A BOLD that is damaged as a result of exposure to liquids is not covered under warranty.
REPAIRING OR MODIFYING: Never attempt to repair or modify BOLD by yourself. Disassembling BOLD, including the removal of external screws, may cause damage that is not covered under the warranty. Do not use it if BOLD has been submerged in water, punctured, or subjected to a severe fall.
USING PORTS: Never force a connector plug into a port. Check for obstructions on the port. If the connector plug and port do not join with reasonable ease, they probably do not match. Make sure that the connector plug matches the port and that you have positioned the connector plug correctly in relation to the port.
FIRST TIME USE: We recommend you charge BOLD fully before using it for the first time. The capacity should be fully optimized after 2 –3 times of full charging and discharge of BOLD.
CHARGING: If you are unsure of the specifications, quality, or features of the charging solutions you have, check to avoid damages to your brand new BOLD.
For fast charging and best performance, use a 100W USB C Electronically marked cable and certified 100W Charger. If you have UZE or Apple chargers and cables, proceed to charge. All UZE cables are made in a Mfi Apple-certified facility. All chargers are certified.
For best performance, charge BOLD using C1 Port. C2 Port works as well but can be slightly slower.
Tip: Verify that the cable and charger work before connecting to your BOLD. BOLD is a high-capacity power bank, and only Electronically marked cables and certified chargers are advised for use.
Tip: Some USB C cables are one-directional. If you are not using a UZE cable, and the cable you have is not charging BOLD, try switching it (the connector plug connected to the wall charger, connect to BOLD, and the connector plug you had inserted in BOLD, connect to the charger.
Tip: Fully charge your BOLD at least once every three months to avoid shortening its lifespan.
Tip: Disconnect BOLD once it is fully charged.

PHONE WIRELESS CHARGER: The wireless charger is Qi Certified and Magsafe Compatible. It can wirelessly charge all Qi-compatible devices and magnetically hold iPhones 12, and 13, iPhones using a MagSafe case, and Android phones with magnetic cases or capabilities. For best lock, it is recommended to use Apple MagSafe cases. When wireless charging is used, a wireless indicator shows on the top right of the OLED screen. Wireless charging drains the battery faster than standard wired (cable) charging as some energy is dissipated and lost in the form of heat.
WATCH WIRELESS CHARGER: Only charge the smartwatch brand that is compatible with your BOLD model (Apple or Samsung only). Damage can occur if the wrong smartwatch brand is used and it is not covered under warranty. When wireless charging is used, a wireless indicator shows on the top right of the OLED screen. Wireless charging drains the battery faster than standard wired (cable) charging as some energy is dissipated and lost in the form of heat.
REBOOTING
OPTION 1: Press the on/off button for 3 seconds until the screen is fully turned off. Once the screen is off, insert a connector plug to port C1. The screen will turn on again, and a new charging cycle will begin. Leave charging for at least 5 minutes. If the issue is not fixed proceed to Option 2. Check the specifications for CHARGING listed above to avoid damages to your BOLD.
OPTION 2: With the screen on, insert a connector plug to port C1, then press the on/off button for 3 seconds, the screen will remain on during the entire process. Leave charging for at least 5 minutes. If the issue is not fixed proceed to Option 3. Check the specifications for CHARGING listed above to avoid damages to your BOLD.
OPTION 3: Charge and discharge your BOLD 2-3 times. After 2-3 charging cycles, the capacity should be fully optimized, and the OLED screen should show the right battery percentage. If the issue is not fixed fill out the questions below. Videos are mandatory for the team to understand and help with your issue.
Tip: Always verify that the chargers and cables you are using work. Switch to port C2 if the battery percentage is not increasing while charging via C1.
BOLD is a high-capacity power bank, it will take longer for BOLD to charge and/or reboot if you use low-capacity charging solutions.

BOLD 2 uses lithium polymer (LiPo) batteries. Here’s a step-by-step guide that takes into account the sensitivity of LiPo batteries to deep discharges:
1. Charge Fully: Start by charging your power bank to 100%. This ensures that the battery is at its maximum capacity and resets the battery charge indicator.
2. Discharge to Safe Level: Use the power bank to charge your devices as you normally would, but carefully monitor the battery percentage. It is important to stop discharging when the power bank reaches around 3% to 5% battery life.
Critical:
It is crucial not to fully deplete the battery in your power bank. Allowing the lithium polymer (LiPo) battery to discharge below 3% can lead to a scenario where the battery may no longer accept a charge at all. Here’s why this is particularly important:
● Irreversible Damage: Deep discharges can lead to irreversible damage within the battery cells, affecting their ability to recharge.
● Failure to Charge: If discharged too deeply, the battery can reach a state where it cannot recover, meaning it won't charge up again. This occurs because the internal chemical structure of the battery degrades, preventing it from maintaining necessary voltage levels for a recharge.
● Safety Mechanisms: Protective circuits designed to safeguard the battery by preventing over-discharge can permanently disconnect the battery if a critical low voltage is detected, rendering the battery unusable.
To prevent your power bank from becoming inoperative, always recharge it before the battery level drops below 3%. This approach helps preserve the functionality and safety of your device, ensuring it remains reliable for everyday use.
3. Rest Period: Once discharged to the recommended level (3% to 5%), let the power bank rest for about an hour. This allows the battery voltage to stabilize and prevents any voltage stress on the battery cells.
4. Recharge to Full: After the resting period, recharge the power bank back to 100% without interruption. This step is crucial as it helps the power bank recalibrate its charging circuit and battery meter to more accurately reflect the charge levels.
5. Repeat if Necessary: If the battery meter still shows inaccurate readings, you may repeat the cycle once more. However, frequent recalibrations are not recommended as they can degrade the battery faster. It’s generally sufficient to calibrate a LiPo battery once every few months, depending on usage.
6. Regular Use: After calibration, continue using the power bank as usual. Regular, moderate use without letting the battery drain completely is beneficial for LiPo battery health.
Additional Tips
Temperature Considerations: Always perform these steps in a cool, dry environment as extreme temperatures can affect battery performance and safety.
